The leadership of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has indicated that all internal feuds have been cleared and all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure victory for the party in this year’s election.

Officials of the CPP in an engagement with the press at the CPP Headquarters in Asylum Down indicated that the CPP has made the necessary arrangements to bring out the best individual as flagbearer to lead Ghana into development.

Congress Chairman of the CPP, Nana Kwaku Tumi revealed that the CPP has positioned itself on a sure way to success despite the actions already taken by other respective political parties in Ghana. He touched on the formation of specific committees to ensure smooth running of the party and it’s activities in this period “Where we are is exactly where we want to be; we studied all the moves made by the NPP and the NDC we have seen their flagbearers and respective running mates; we know their weaknesses and we know their strengths.” he explained.

According to Communication Director of the CPP, Osei Kofi Acquah the CPP is aware of their position in this presidential race and is gradually strategizing to emerge victorious at the incoming elections set for December 7 2024.

Other proceedings set to follow nominations on Wednesday, July 24th 2024 to Friday, August 2nd 2024 include vetting of the nominees from Tuesday, August 6th to Wednesday August 7th. The CPP will then organize a National Executive Council meeting which will be held on Tuesday, August 20th 2024 and lastly elections to officially present the flagbearer of the CPP.
