Ghanaian world title prospect Dodzi Kemeh has called on the government to invest in boxing in order to make the sport more attractive to young people.

Kemeh, who is known for his impressive skills in the ring, believes that increased support from the government could help to nurture the next generation of boxing talent in Ghana.

According to Kemeh, the lack of investment in the sport has made it difficult for young boxers to succeed and reach their full potential. Many talented fighters are forced to turn to other sports or even leave the country in search of opportunities, he said.

Kemeh made his plea through his translator Gabriel Boateng, who explained that the boxer wants to see more resources put into the sport so that it can become a viable career option for young people in Ghana. Boateng added that Kemeh is committed to working with the government and other stakeholders to help develop the sport in the country.

In addition to calling for increased investment, Kemeh also highlighted the importance of improving the quality of training and facilities available to young boxers. He said that with the right resources and support, Ghana has the potential to produce world-class fighters who can compete on the global stage.

Overall, Kemeh’s message is clear: it is time for the government to take action and invest in the future of boxing in Ghana. By supporting young boxers and helping to grow the sport, the country can nurture a new generation of talented fighters and ensure a bright future for boxing in Ghana.
