To prevent your marriage and family from falling apart, make sure you don’t introduce foreigners in your marital affairs, marriage counselor, Ellen Gyamerah-Ako has advised.
According to her, the secret to all lasting relationships is for couples to resolve matters exclusively amongst themselves.
“When you have any issues in your marriage, sit and talk to your husband to resolve the matter. You don’t need to meet another person to discuss your issues with. You don’t have to discuss marital matters with your friend, family or anyone apart from your husband,” she told couples of the 2023 edition of the Happy FM Mass Wedding.
She described marriage as a lifelong union and urged couples to settle matters all on their own.
Mama Ellen further disclosed the mobile phone as a third party which can disrupt marriages.
“The phone has become third parties destroying most marriages. In some homes, couples would rather spend time on their phones than deal with the real issues and that’s becoming a problem,” she added.
