"Don't waste your time on people who criticize you" – Shatta Wale's mum

Mama Elsie, as Wale’s mother is affectionately called, must have seen the tough times that her son is going through currently with his relationship and ridicule from his ‘haters’. In the letter Mama Elsie advised her son to stop wasting time on people who criticize his life.
To her, most of those people criticizing her son have no idea the price he had to pay to get to where he is now. Mama Elsie reportedly wrote: “Stop wasting time on those on criticize your life! It’s always someone who has no idea the price you paid to get to where you are today.” An elated and proud son Shatta Wale shared this ‘letter’ on his Facebook wall with a caption suggesting that he is grateful to his mom for the kind words.

His fans and followers seem to be touched by Shatta Wale’s mom’s letter and have commented on it.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has always been in the news for one reason or the other. Lately, his long-time girlfriend and baby mama, Shatta Michy, has packed out of their East Legon mansion after a ‘deadly’ misunderstanding with Shatta Wale.
According to Michy, Wale was in the habit of beating her up and also threatening her with a gun at the least provocation; therefore, she is no longer interested in their relationship.
Wale has also faced ridicule from his ‘haters’ who call him all sort of names including ‘Gbee Naabu’, because according to them, he has a big mouth. Perhaps, seeing all the hard times her son has to go through, Mama Elsie was touched to send him that encouraging letter.
Shatta Wale’s latest song ‘Gringo’ has garnered over one million views since its release less than a month ago.
The song is also number one on most music charts in Ghana.
