The 2018 Ghana Amputee League continued over the weekend with some exciting fixtures as Gye Nyame kept up their terrific start to the league with another victory.
All the eight teams gathered at the El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday, with clubs from Ashanti, Eastern, Central and the Greater Accra regions poised to carry the day.
The competition has recorded over one hundred and eighty (180) amputated people who were all on the street begging for arms.
Speaking after the matches, the president of Ghana Amputee League Board, who also doubles as the chairman of Dan-deVan Group of Companies, Mr Daniel Nii Mensah, called on the team owners and the player to keep on training heard for the success of the league.
He outlined numerous challenges facing the Amputee League as financial and material support from organizations as no sponsor has come on board yet.
