Dr Kwame Kyei should resign- Former Kotoko CEO Jarvis Preprah

Former Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Javies Preprah, says Executive Director of the club Dr Kwame Kyei should relinquish his post to save him from the impending embarrassment as the woes of the club continues to deepen.

Asante Kotoko are in crisis due to poor managerial decisions which has seen one of its management member Edmund Ackah resign from post..

According to Jarvis, the way and manner the team is being managed under the current administration is appalling.

“Dr Kwame Kyei has done his best for the club but I think is time for him to go and hand over the team to his Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II”, he told Odi Asempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.

“There is a lot going on with the club, players are not happy and complaining, there are issues with player transfers, strike sponsorship and many others. This all shows management has failed.

“We all have to check whether the team is progressing or not. There has been too much complains about the management style of Kotoko which should be a concern. For someone like Edmund Ackah to resign should tell you that all is not well with the club.

“He has done his part and I think he should just go to Manhyia and hand over the team”.

Asante Kotoko currently have to deal with issues with FIFA as they have been ordered to pay $180,000 to Tunisian giants Esperance or else be relegated from the Ghana Premier League.
