The Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle Constituency, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has urged Ghanaian youth to protect the nation’s peace and unity, stressing that they are the cornerstone of national progress.

Speaking at the National Youth Authority’s National Youth Conference 2025 at Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa Fetteh, She reminded young people not to take the country’s stability for granted, warning that no politician, traditional leader, or religious figure should be allowed to undermine the harmony Ghanaians enjoy.

“The peace we enjoy in Ghana is what allows us to sit together, from different ethnic groups, different regions in harmony. No politician, no traditional leader, no religious leader should take that away from us. Let us never take it for granted. Our strength lies in our diversity, and together we must protect it so that Ghana continues to shine as the Black Star of Africa,” she said.

Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings further urged the youth to see themselves as guardians of national cohesion, emphasizing that Ghana’s stability and development depend on their ability to uphold unity, tolerance, and mutual respect.
