The Stakeholder Committee on DStv pricing has informed the public of an approved extension by Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Sam Nartey George of deliberations on viewing package prices in Ghana by an additional week.
In a statetement released on Tuesday by the NCA, the committee which was tasked to achieve a shared understanding of DStv pricing for Ghana and established an acceptable roadmap to curb cross-border piracy of DStv decoders from Nigeria to Ghana, indicated that an extension was needed to present efficient results.
“Whilst the Committee has made significant progress, it has requested an extension of one week to complete its work, which has been granted by the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations.”
The National Communications Authority hereby notes that the outcome of the committee’s work is expected to be presented by Monday, September 29, 2025.
