Effah Nyahko awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree

Business man Effah Nyarko has been conferred with an honorary Doctorate of Philosophy by Ukrainian University Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University for his immense contribution and success in the hospitality and trading business in Ghana.

In an unveiling ceremony on Monday 15th April, 2019 in Accra, The Vinnytsia StatePedagogical University named after famous Ukrainian author, Mykhailo Kotsyubynskyj and well known both in Ukraine and abroad conferred the honorary Doctorate degree on the C.E.O of Ba Nyarko Royal Hotel at Obo Kwahu,Mr. Effah Nyarko.

A citation for the honour stated “This is in recognition of your enormous dedication and commitment to becoming a mogul in business and efforts in ensuing the socio economic wellbeing of individuals in your country and Africa at large.
Your commitment and dedication to your business has earned you unequalled honour among giants.
Your efforts has led to the development of variety of businesses, contributing to the society and Ghana as a whole.

The Citation ended by stating “After assessing your achievement in Ghana and beyond, the Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University deemed it fit to confer upon you, a Doctorate of Philosophy (Honorary Doctorate) under the auspices of COGAI.

The University congratulates you on this noble achievement. You are a worthy model for the youth and a beacon of hope for businessmen and hearing loss patients in Ghana and Africa, Congratulations.”

Rev. Nyarko when responding to the award said “Its by the grace of God that I have been honored because I never expected this. I was going about my normal business never expected this but God has showed me this grace. Today is a very big day for me and my family.”

“I am a person who always strives to do better and I never get complacent. I have great passion for the youth of this country and I will like to see them succeed. So this award will not make me complacent but rather make me work harder.”

Mr.Nyarko was accompanied by family, friends and well wishers to the event.

A ceremony is expected to be held in the coming weeks at the University of Ghana by officials of Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University and in collaboration with the Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute (COGAI) to officially confer the Honorary Doctorate on Rev. Kweitsu.

Fada Dickson of the Deapite Group, Dr. Kwame Kyei of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Dr.K.K Peprah are all former winners.
