The families of the missing Takoradi Girls reject the forensic reports by the police whilst insisting that their children are alive.

Members of the families of the missing Takoradi girls were interviewed on Happy FM’s “Epahoa Daben” show with Nana Afrifa Mensah.

A father of one the kidnapped Takoradi girls said: “When the Police arrived to break the news to me, they had no copy of the DNA results. At the time of their visit, other Policemen were having a press conference concerning the news in Accra. I do not believe that my daughter is dead.

Family members of the other missing Takoradi girls expressed similar sentiments by emphatically stating that they believed that their children were alive. They added that they wanted to deal directly with the suspect since they had lost confidence in the Police.

The news of the kidnap of the three Takoradi girls, namely Ruthlove Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie broke mid-last year. Regarding the news of the Kidnap, the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (DCOP), Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah received a heavy backlash from citizens when she stated that she only wanted to bring hope to the families following her previous comments which implied that the Police knew where the girls were.
