In the early hours of Monday 22nd June, 2020, a video that was circulating showed afro-beats singer, Kelvynboy being attacked at an event in Ashaiman by a man reported to be Stonebwoy’s former bodyguard.
Subsequently, Kelvynboy took to his social media page to react with some tweets claiming that someone sent boys to come after him.
While some have read meanings into Kelvynboy’s tweets by saying that it is directed at Stonebwoy, road manager for Kelvynboy,Didi, has debunked the allegation.
Speaking in an interview with Happy FM’s DJ Advicer on the ‘Ayekoo After Drive’, he clarified: “Kelvynboy’s tweet is not directed at Stonebwoy.
He could have simply mentioned Stonebwoy’s name. His tweet might have been directed to an Ashaiman thug who sent his boys at him[Kelvynboy] . We have made our checks and it has been said that the guy is not with Stonebwoy.
If we had wanted to accuse Stonebwoy, we could have just mentioned him. We just made a general statement”.
Didi revealed that a complaint has been lodged to the police and they are waiting for the police to complete their investigations.
