The former National Democratic Congress’ Member of Parliament (MP) for Ledzokuku Constituency in the Greater has kicked the bucket this dawn after a short illness.
The MP who was also a Deputy Minister for Sports in the late Prof. Evans Atta-Mills’ administration, Nii Nortey -Dua as he was popularly known has passed on.
He was a sports commentator with Ghana Broadcasting Corporation(GBC) and a former lecturer at Ghana Institute of Journalism as well as an Assembly member.
Reports say he passed on early this morning at the hospital.
Reports added he was rushed to the hospital on Friday and was responding to treatment until he gave up, this early morning.
