The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has announced that Shatta Wale, Camidoh and Kweku Smoke will perform at the 2025 President’s Cup.

Hearts of Oak on Sunday, July 6, will host rivals Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium to compete for the 18th President’s Cup.

According to the organizers, the President’s Cup is a celebratory event hence the needed to bring the musicians to thrill fans before the game between Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

“Shatta Wale, Camidoh and Kweku Smoke have all confirmed that they will perform on Sunday so fans will be thrilled with performances before the game itself so we should all come to the stadium on time to enjoy every package,” GHALCA Chairman John Ansah said said at a press briefing on Friday, July 4, 2025.

GHALCA also announced that the gates to the popular stand and center line will be opened freely to the public.

“The popular stand and center line will be opened to the public for free and it will be for first come first serve. But the VIP and VVIP areas will only be for those with complimentary cards only.”

With thousands expected in the stands and millions watching nationwide, the 2025 President’s Cup is set to be a memorable celebration of Ghana’s sporting and cultural heritage.
