The Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has reaffirmed her dedication to advancing the government’s social protection initiatives, emphasizing her commitment to fulfilling the president’s vision of improving the lives of Ghanaians.

She has called on all to work collectively in achieving the government’s mandate. She emphasized that the president has entered into a social contract with the people of Ghana to enhance their well-being, and she remains resolute in ensuring that the objectives of this agreement are met.

She stressed the crucial role of the ministry in promoting dignity, respect, and a better quality of life for citizens, particularly the vulnerable. While civil society organizations continue to contribute perspectives on policies and programs, she pointed out that ministry officials, as core team members, had the responsibility of implementing these initiatives effectively.

She expressed confidence that the collective efforts of all stakeholders would drive meaningful change and urged Ghanaians to remain committed, as she has no intention of failing in her role, nor did she expect any member of the ministry to do so.
