GFA engage clubs on a consistent basis- Micky Charles

President of Techiman City Football Club, Charles Kwadwo Ntim popularly known as Micky Charles has called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to be updating clubs on the way forward for Ghana football during this coronavirus pandemic.

According to him, most of the members of the association are unable to plan ahead because information from the GFA isn’t forthcoming.

Micky Charles compared information flow from other Football Associations to that of the Ghana Football Association. He described the information flow from the Ghana Football Association to its members as poor and inconsistent.

Speaking in an interview on Ghana’s number one Sports Station, Happy 98.9FM with Ohene Bampoe-Brenya, he said, “My problem is how this current administration is unable to engage the clubs during this pandemic. Because of COVID-19, we are unable to meet so the only means of engaging the clubs is by communication.

“We must be informed about what is going on, whether the league will continue or not; The FA must be updating its members on a consistent basis. A lot of things are not forthcoming. Some of the updates you will even hear it in the media.

“Things are not forthcoming from the FA and how do we see ourselves as members of the association when we are in the dark about current happenings”, he quizzed.

“Every proper company engages its members on what is happening and we expect the FA to do much better”, he added.
