The Ghana Premier League will resume with Matchday 23, spanning Friday, March 7, to Monday, March 10, 2025.

This resumption is contingent upon successful safety and security inspections of all match venues by the GFA and the Ministry for Sports and Recreation.

The GFA, following extensive discussions with stakeholders, announced the league’s return after training sessions for stakeholders on the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols 2025—a document largely developed by the clubs themselves.

The GFA has also announced rescheduled dates for outstanding Matchdays 20, 21, and 22. Matchday 20 will be played from Tuesday, March 18, to Thursday, March 20; Matchday 21 from Tuesday, April 1, to Thursday, April 3; and Matchday 22 from Tuesday, April 15, to Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Additionally, Asante Kotoko’s outstanding MTN FA Cup match against Sekondi Eleven Wise is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The Football Association calls for the full cooperation of all stakeholders, including the Ghana Police Service, to ensure safety and security at all match venues as the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season continues.
