GMABCElectionCamp: Tips for Voters to Reduce Spread of COVID-19
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Elections have always been anticipated in Ghana but this year’s election stands out from all our past ones.  For the very first time in Ghana’s history, a former President and a sitting President will go head to head in the December polls.

As part of preparations to keep the ordinary Ghanaian well informed, Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC) made up Happy 98.9 FM, e.TV Ghana and the YFM Triangle spread across Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi with its election coverage team under the banner ‘GMABC Election Camp’ is highly poised to provide Ghanaians incisive, credible and up-to-date coverage of the December 7 polls.

One may ask what makes our coverage superior to the many media houses in the country. I would tell you to take your time and patiently let me take you through why you cannot and must not miss the #GMABCElectionCamp coverage for anything under the sun.

With our various media assets at our disposal, GMABC will take advantage of this to reach all viewers and listeners simultaneously with unadulterated feed from our studios. Our live feed from the studios of e.TV Ghana in Accra will be piped through our radio and other numerous assets to reach both stationary and mobile individuals across the country.

With nationwide reach and providing our audience with up to the minute information, GMABC together with its solid partners and affiliate broadcasting giants across the country will keep you updated. When they happen, we will be there not just to report but to fact check and follow-up as well.

Making access to the election coverage more exciting, giving it an unlimited reach and access to everyone and anyone, GMABC will deploy all its digital resources to support the #GMABCElectionCamp coverage. Being a forerunner in digital and terrestrial media technologies, the brand through digital media will provide live feed to Ghanaians in the diaspora to not only actively observe happenings in the country but will also provide them with the opportunity to actively partake in the election discourse.

With audience and viewer participation as our hallmark. We will take and share the constructive views and opinions of viewers to foster unity, peace and growth in the country during and even after the elections.

As human resource is a crucial factor in making all this possible, GMABC has a line up of professionals (both on-air and on-ground staff) with rich media experience who will not only repeat figures but will critically analyse and double-check data from the various regions and constituencies during the election and also promote a free, fair and peaceful election.

We are currently running a series of programmes on air that are preparing the minds of the Ghanaian populace towards elections. The ‘Abato) Mu Abakwas3m’ that takes us through Ghana’s election history and ‘Wo Mpesoaso’ a constituency watch series are a part of such programs.

Stick and stay with us on this journey for the most historic election coverage in Ghana
