AshantiGold SC and Asante Kotoko both shared the spoils in the Ashanti derby at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in this match day 11 fixture.

The Porcupine Warriors dominated possession in the second half and nearly had a chance at goal in the dying minutes of the game through Kwame Poku but he failed to direct his shot on target.
Speaking after the game, Asante Kotoko Coach Johnson Smith said, “We had the chances to score but we couldn’t convert them. Sometimes these things happen in games. We have to encourage Kwame Poku so next time he gets to score in the game”.
AshantiGold SC coach Cirkovic Milovan admitted it was a tough game for his team, “It was a very difficult game but now I am satisfied with my players. They tactically played well and were very impressive. I’m satisfied with the performance of my players”.
