GPLonHappyFM: Berekum Chelsea, Hearts share spoils

Berekum Chelsea maintained their unbeaten run at home against Hearts of Oak in this matchday 10 fixture.

The game ended goalless after regulation time as both sides failed to find the back of the net.

Hearts of Oak came close to snatching the win in the closing minute through Ivorian footballer Eric Dzian but his effort was blocked by Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Sekyere.

Chelsea also had their chances but could not make it count.

Berekum Chelsea coach Seff Hoffman mapped out a strategy which prevented Hearts from attacking his side, especially in the second half.

Speaking to the media after the game, Hearts coach Kosta Papic said his players played as if they didn’t want to win the game.

According to him, he was not impressed with the performance of his team and should they have any shot at the title, Hearts must be winning consistently.

Seth Hoffman who was put in charge of the Berekum Chelsea team in his post-match interview said, he is impressed with his side performance and they will improve with time.

Hearts of Oak after the draw have moved to second position on the league log with 16 points.
