Yahaya Mohammed was on the scoresheet for Aduana Stars in their 2-1 win over Legon Cities at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in this matchday nine fixture.

The Ogya lads went into the match with the aim of returning to winning ways following their 2-1 defeat at Medeama last week.

Yahaya Mohammed calmed the nerves of the home fans with a superb strike in the 21st minute.

The Ogya Boys held on to their slim lead until half time as Legon Cities FC drew level two minute after the break through Francis Addo.

The Dormaa Park went dead silent after Addo’s goal but there was a bit of optimism amongst their sizable fans as their team continued to probe for the lead.

Fatawu Abdulrahaman brought smiles back at the stadium when he nicked in Aduana Stars’ ahead in the 49th minute.

Fatawu’s goal proved to be the winner as the host held on to record their third win of the season.
