Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority Akwasi Agyeman to place Ghana on the world map.

Patrons of the event were captured with a warm welcome address delivered by the Deputy CEO of General Services for Ghana Tourism Authority, Ben Anane Nsiah who explained December in GH as an initiative which has made Ghana a global entertainment hub for the last quarter of the year since 2019 till date. “December in GH is designed to leverage on our cultural vibrancy. Over the past few years, we have made Ghana the entertainment capital of the world in the last quarter of the year.”

All attendees were given a brief concept of December in GH during the unveiling of the events calendar by Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Akwasi Agyeman.

During the unveiling, he applauded the efforts of the Beyond The Return Secretariat and all other individuals who have partnered to make Ghana a global destination for the past few years. “All events that are selected as part of the December in GH events are selected from a first call of entry which is done during the first quarter of each year and a second one around this period; they all undergo the necessary processes and deliberations by a steering committee to ensure that all events lined up on the calendar are successful and enjoyable for all people who attend.”
