Sports journalist and host of the popular show Happy Sports, Ohene Bampoe Brenya, is about to embark on an exhilarating adventure to Ataturk Stadium in Turkey. His mission? To provide football fans in Ghana and around the world with unprecedented coverage of the highly anticipated UEFA Champions League Finals.

The grand finals, featuring an epic clash between Inter Milan and the English Champions, Manchester City, will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2023.

When asked about his upcoming trip to Turkey, Ohene Bampoe-Brenya promises to take his audience on a thrilling journey through his Champions League coverage. “I won’t simply offer a virtual tour,” he declares. “I will immerse myself in Turkey’s rich cultural tapestry, exploring its vibrant streets, indulging in local cuisine, and engaging in conversations with passionate Turkish football fans. This won’t be solely about football; I will capture the essence of the tournament, embrace the local perspective, and weave it all into my coverage. I will also provide unique insights into the architecture, history, and atmosphere of the Ataturk Stadium. Through my storytelling, you will feel the energy and passion of the crowd, connecting you to the game and making you feel as though you are right there in the stands.”

Timothy Karikari, the Director of Global Media Alliance Broadcasting (GMABC), expressed his congratulations and best wishes to Brenya. “Congratulations to Brenya, and best wishes in Turkey. I know this will be an unforgettable journey, as he captures the essence of the tournament and brings it to life for fans in Ghana. With his in-depth analysis, behind-the-scenes access, and engaging storytelling, Ohene will ensure that listeners on Happy98.9FM and our social media followers are not just spectators but active participants in the thrilling world of European football. I believe that with his passion and expertise, Ohene Bampoe Brenya will establish himself as a trailblazer in sports journalism, leaving an indelible mark on the coverage of the Champions League,” Karikari remarked.
