Ghana’s leading people centered radio station, Happy98.9FM has kick-started its biblical educational competition to promote the word of God amongst the youth.

Termed ‘Happy Bible Quiz,’ the contest which seeks to instill in Christians the word of God and promote bible knowledge amongst young Christians, encourages participants to strive for excellence in bible knowledge, spelling, literature and a myriad of other biblical activities.

Dedicated to the Christian community and spearheaded by the station’s socio-religious show, ‘Nsem Pii’, the Happy Bible Quiz will see churches and individuals in the country compete against each other for the bragging rights on who knows the word.

To assess the reward, participants are to excel in thematic areas which include; sword, bible and character drills.

Participants were taken through an orientation session on Monday, October 9 2023 at the premises of Happy98.9FM in Asylum Down.
The participants, during the orientation were briefed on the rudiments of the contest and a grooming session to enhance their confidence.

The 9 week-long event will be held at the studios of Happy98.9FM and broadcasted live with support from the digital assets of Happy98.9FM.

Coordinator of the Happy Bible Quiz, Isaac Addae said this year’s edition promises to be exciting and more interactive, describing it as an avenue for sharing bible knowledge, “Happy Bible Quiz will provide a unique platform for the unearthing of future bible scholars and increasingly build relationships amongst churches. I will like to use this opportunity to wish all participants the best of luck as we commence the program on Sunday 15th October, 2023. Give out your best and success will be yours.”

The Happy Bible Quiz is in partnership with; The Christian Council of Ghana, The Bible Society of Ghana and the Methodist Bookshop.
