Adelaide Abbiw-Williams, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana’s premium high-definition satellite broadcast service provider, SES HD PLUS Ghana, has urged Ghanaian women to come together and collaborate in their pursuit of success, especially in male dominated fields.

Adelaide Abbiw-Williams made this clarion call during the maiden edition of the “HD+ LeadHERS Xperience” held on Wednesday; 19th July 2023.

The “HD+ LeadHERS Xperience” initiated by SES HD PLUS Ghana to project successful stories of women leaders to ignite the passion and empower other women and young persons witnessed Adelaide Abbiw-Williams share her journey along with other successful business leaders in various fields.

Addressing participants, Adelaide emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort among women in various professional fields. She stated, “We need to collaborate and work together, supporting each other’s aspirations and dreams. When women come together, there’s nothing we cannot achieve. Some of the world’s greatest achievements were seen through collaborations and especially when women came together.”

Drawing from her own experiences, Adelaide Abbiw-Williams highlighted challenges she faced on her path to success to breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry. She encouraged young women in attendance to be bold, resilient, and determined in the pursuit of their ambitions.

“Be fearless in pursuing your goals and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve something just because of your gender. You have the power to shatter those glass ceilings and pave the way for future generations,” she stated.

Throughout the event, attendees participated in workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions that aimed to foster a sense of community and support among Ghanaian women striving to make a difference in their respective fields.

The “HD+ LeadHERS Xperience” concluded on a high note of empowerment and camaraderie, leaving an indelible mark on attendees and inspiring them to take charge of their destinies and lead with courage and compassion.
