"I could have won the league and Champions League for Hearts" – says Kenichi Yatsuhashi

Inter Allies coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi believes he would have won the league and the Champions League for Hearts of Oak had he stayed longer at the club.
The Japanese trainer joined the Phobians two seasons ago and quickly endeared himself to their fans with his revered ‘sushi’ tactics.
However, his relationship with the club’s management went sour when he struggled to churn out the desired results, which informed the club’s management to sack him midway through the campaign.
The 49-year-old had a short stint with FC Tiger in Cambodia before he was plucked by Inter Allies prior to the ongoing Zylofon Cash Premier League season.
He led the Tema-based side to inflict a 1-0 defeat on his former employers on Match Day 14 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League on Thursday.
In the wake of the match, Yatsuhashi expressed his sadness over the display of the Phobians and bemoaned the manner in which he was shown the exit – believing that he could have returned them to the echelon of Africa football.
“First of all I’m sad as an avid supporter of Hearts of Oak that they lost today but I’m happy with our win,” Yatsuhashi told Zylofon FM.
“Secondly, they should have kept me, and then we would have won the league and the Champions league. They should have kept me at Hearts of Oak.”
Inter Allies move up to 3rd on the log while Hearts of Oak remain 12th with a game in hand.
