Ghanaian rapper and songwriter, Michael Owusu Addo popularly known in music circles as Sarkodie has replied actress Yvonne Nelson.
The Ghanaian actress in her ‘I Am Not Yvonne’ book released a week ago, called out the Ghanaian rapper for impregnating her and not taking responsibility.
‘He said no’ Yvonne detailed in a chapter of her book where she said “I wasn’t the only one responsible for the situation, so I called the man whose potent seed had germinated in me. His name is Michael Owusu Addo, a renowned Ghanaian musician who is better known as Sarkodie”.
Sarkodie has apparently responded to these charges with the new song Try Me, which has caused both confusion and excitement on social media. Early on June 28th, the song was posted to Sarkodie’s official YouTube profile.
Many people have characterized Sarkodie’s response to Yvonne Nelson’s charges as nasty and dramatic. His choice to confront the claims in such a public setting surprised fans and followers. The ongoing debate about the alleged event involving the rapper and the actress has been more heated after the release of ‘Try Me.’
