Ghanaian musician Abochi born Bismark Enyan has refused to accept the statement flying around in the Ghanaian music scene saying “Ghana will not have a vibrant entertainment industry if musicians like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are taken out of the list.”

According to him it is even wrong for one to even think along those lines.

He said this in an interview on Happy98.9FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’ with Doctar Cann. “When Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie leave the music scene, there are other musicians who will replace them.”

Abochi noted that there are other equally good artistes out there. But people make that statement because Ghanaians normally center around those at the top which is unhealthy.

He appealed to Ghanaians to also focus and support the fast rising artistes. “Let’s support all artistes so that we don’t have a few at the top. And break the cycle of making statements like this.”
