President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that Former President John Dramani is the only Former President who did not have a second term because of his poor performance.

According to him, former Presidents of Ghana had the blessings of the Almighty God and the support of Ghanaians to lead this country for two terms unlike John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking at a gathering of Professional bodies in Kumasi, President Akufo-Addo indicated that Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor and himself had a second chance to lead this country.

“There are four people who have had the support of Ghanaians to become Presidents of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor, John Dramani Mahama and myself. Of all of these, Jerry John had a second term, Kufuor had a second term, and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had a second term”.

“The only one who was not given a second term was John Dramani Mahama and the reason is that he did a poor job”, he said.

President Akufo-Addo urged the Ghanaian populace to vote for Dr. Bawumia citing his vision and experience for the betterment of the Nation.

He described Dr. Bawumia as the only one who has the capacity to lead this country and not John Mahama who failed the country during his tenure.
