Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated GHC 200, 000 to the leadership of the Kantamanto market.

During his visit to the market today January 6, 2025, Dr. Bawumia also pledged to provide them with building materials for the reconstruction of the market.

Dr. Bawumia also revealed that he will facilitate a group insurance package for the traders to protect them in case of any tragedy.

“It is very important for the traders to have insurance that will help them in times like this so i have engaged the leadership of the market to make an estimate so that we can provide that for them”, he added.

“Once I am here, I can’t just come here and leave so today I want to leave you with an amount of GHC 200, 000 and later on provision of cement and roofing will follow suit”, he said.
