Seasoned gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong, has advised Ghanaians to consider the Covid-19 outbreak as a lesson and a guide to how we live our lives in the future.

In an interview with Pastor Nyansa Boakwa on Happy FM’s religious programme, Nsem Pii, he pleaded with Ghanaians that when God sees the nation through this sudden disease outbreak, people should learn to save more.

“COVID-19 has taught us a great lesson. You will suffer if you don’t have money in these times. No one knows tomorrow so when you have food in the future, save some for unforeseen circumstances”, he urged.

According to him, God does as He pleases and per the Bible, everything God does is good, hence we should not doubt Him, but pray and wait for His time.

Yaw Sarpong added however, that it is also very important that we heed to the safety measures that are constantly being communicated, so that we can all help in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

“Just like the President has asked us to wash our hands frequently, use sanitizers, wear nose masks and observe social distancing, let us go by the rules so that we can all be safe from this disease”, the gospel legend concluded.
