Malik Basintale, the Deputy National Communications Officer of the NDC, has alleged that NPP Members are involved in fertilizer smuggling from the upper East Region to Togo and Burkina faso.

According to him, the smuggling of fertilizers will affect farmers’ yield.

Addressing the people of Binduri in the upper East Region at a rally, Malik accused NPP gurus of masterminding the smuggle of fertilizers and other agricultural produce to other countries.

Specifically, he alleged that Abdullai Abanga, the Member of Parliament for Binduri has a hand and plays a vital role in the smuggling of fertilizers.

He promised that all those involved in fertilizer smuggling will be jailed in the next NDC administration.
