The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man captured in a viral video wearing a police uniform without authorization.
The suspect, identified as Osei Kwame, popularly known as “Nsafufoo,” was apprehended at Antoakrom in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti Region.
According to a police statement released on Thursday, July 3, Osei Kwame was found unlawfully in possession of a police uniform and was seen in the video appearing intoxicated while wearing it.
The footage, which quickly circulated on social media, drew public attention and raised concerns about impersonation.
Police say he is currently in custody and assisting with investigations.
