Medeama SC head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, has said that his team’s main target is to win the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League title.
Medeama moved to second on the GPL table after securing a slim 1-0 win over Karela United in the Western derby last Sunday.
With 44 points, just three points behind leaders Aduana Stars, Medeama will be hoping to close the gap when they meet Accra Lions in their 2022/23 betPawa GPL match week 27.
“It has been fourteen years since Medeama entered the Ghana Premier League. We have been to Africa, qualified for the FA Cup twice and our main target now is to win the league title. We are not in a rush to achieve it. We are taking it game after game and are positive we can achieve it. “Medeama will try to win the rest of its’s matches and if any of the other teams contending slip? We will capitalize” he told Joe Debrah host of Wamputu Sports.
