Hiplife/Hiphop artiste, Solomon Adu Antwi, known in the music industry as Ponobiom has been unveiled as the brand ambassador for a giant sportsbook company ‘Mybet.africa.’
Mybet.africa is organizing a special promotion for football lovers in the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt, dubbed “I Bet Ghana Will Score” in a short ceremony at their office complex in Accra.
The marketing manager explaining the rational behind the signing of the ‘Obiaa Wo Ne Master’ hitmaker as the brand face of the giant sportsbook company, he said, “mybet.africa is excited to collaborate with Ponobiom to bring to life campaigns of mybet.africa in the ensuring days and hope it inspires all Ghanaians to get involved in mybet.africa Ponobiom campaigns.”
On his part, Ponobiom, said he is “Delighted to be associated with mybet.africa and hinted, Ghanaians would soon see exciting, and breathtaking campaigns across all media.”
The Marketing manager however, explained how the special promotion will be executed without any hindrance.
“Customers will be given 5 Ghana cedis bonus for each goal Ghana scores in the AFCON 2019 tournament in Egypt. Customers are expected to place a bet of 10 Ghana cedis and above on a ticket that includes a Ghana match, or on a Ghana match only, to be eligible for the promotion.”
Ponobiom hit single ‘Obia Wo Ne Master’ was adjudged the Hip-life song of the year at the just ended 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Black Stars have been drawn against defending champions Cameroon, Benin, and Guinea-Bissau.
Ghana will play their first on June 25 against Benin at the Ismailia Stadium.
The team will departed to Egypt from their camping base in United Arab Emirates on Thursday.
