The seven-member National Economic Dialogue Planning Committee, chaired by renowned economist Dr. Ishmael Yamson, is set to present its final report to President John Dramani Mahama today.
The report marks the culmination of a high-profile dialogue held from March 3–4 at the Accra International Conference Centre, an event organized as part of the President’s ambitious 120-day Social Contract with Ghanaians.
The dialogue, which gathered key stakeholders from the private sector, civil society organizations, traditional authorities, and academia, sought to address Ghana’s pressing economic challenges.
Participants engaged in discussions on macroeconomic stability, structural reforms, infrastructure development, governance, and strategies to boost private sector growth.
The final report is expected to contain a comprehensive analysis, clear recommendations, and a strategic roadmap aimed at restoring economic stability.
