The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended Christmas and New Year greetings to Ghanaians both at home and in the diaspora, while reaffirming its commitment to delivering on its mandate to govern.
In a statement issued and signed by the party’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, on December 24, 2025, the NDC encouraged Ghanaians, particularly Christians marking the birth of Jesus Christ, to reflect on the values of compassion, sacrifice, peace and gratitude that characterise the festive season.
The party noted that the Christmas period also marks one year since Ghanaians entrusted it with the responsibility to govern the country.
Acknowledging the weight of this mandate, the NDC stated that it remains resolute in translating its vision into tangible improvements in the lives of the people.
According to the statement, the NDC government over the past year has taken deliberate steps to restore public confidence in governance, stabilise the economy and lay the foundation for sustainable growth.
It added that these efforts have been pursued alongside a strong focus on social protection and accountability.
Looking ahead to the new year, the party reaffirmed its commitment to fully delivering on its mandate, with particular emphasis on economic recovery, youth employment, strengthening public institutions and improving living standards.
The NDC assured Ghanaians of continued responsiveness, discipline and results-driven governance in the year ahead.
The party wished for a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year for all Ghanaians.
