NDC’s Lawyer Bernard Bediako Files Nomination to Contest Akwatia By-Election

The Akwatia parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Bernard Bediako Baidoo, has submitted his forms at the Electoral Commission office in the Akwatia Constituency of the Eastern Region to contest the upcoming Akwatia by-election slated for September 2.

Lawyer Bernard Bediako Baidoo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Akwatia Constituency, has indeed submitted his forms to the Electoral Commission office in the Akwatia Constituency of the Eastern Region to officially contest in the upcoming by-election scheduled for 2 September 2025.

Speaking to the media he dismissed disunity rumors within the party and was accompanied by his primary opponents during the filing process and urged constituents to vote for him, promising to bring development to the area.

Lawyer Bernard Bediako expressed confidence in his victory and called on party supporters to unite behind him, promising a winning campaign in the Akwatia by-election.

Meanwhile, the former Akwatia MP Henry Yiadom Boakye (Okoyo) and runner-up Erasmus Ali Koney (Asanka) have thrown their support behind NDC’s chosen candidate, Lawyer Bernard Bediako Baidoo, calling for party unity to secure victory in the upcoming by-election.
