NPP National Election to cause a stir — Kwaku Baako

Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako Jnr has hinted of a possible shock to occur in the upcoming election of National executives for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The NPP announced last year that it was going to hold its National Delegate Conference in Koforidua in the Eastern Region from June, 15 to 17 2018.
Many have vied for the various positions available with some new faces showing up the scene. Some old executives are however still vying for the positions trying to be maintained.
However, Kweku Baako believes, the election is going to be one that will surprise many as he has predicted the eviction of many current holding executives for new faces.
Speaking on a flagship Morning Show program dubbed Kokrokoo on Peace FM on Wednesday, the ace journalist said “I feel something is going to happen this election. Many people will go home. New faces will join the terrain”.
He quickly indicated he was only guessing what could possibly occur.
Meanwhile the party has rescheduled the date for its National Delegates Conference since it coincides with this year’s Eid ul-Fitr celebrations which fall on June 15, 2018.
A circular by the party on May 10, 2018 stated that the Delegates Conference has been postponed to 7th July, due to the Eid-Adhal festivities.
