Paa Kwesi Fabian has been named as the head coach of Ghana’s Olympic team, the Black Meteors by the Ghana Football Association.
The former Uganda U-17 coach will be assisted by Kotoko assistant coach Akapko Patron with Ben Owu as his goalkeepers trainer.
Other members of the technical team are:
Andrew Ayim – Team Doctor
Albert K. Evedzi – Physiotherapist
Ablade Kumah – Welfare Officer
Emmanuel Opoku – Equipment Officer.
The GFA has also named a Management Committee for the Black Meteors as follows:
Frederick Acheampong – Chairman
Frederick Moore – Vice Chairman
Frederick Boateng – Member
George Aforklenyuie – Member
Nana Adu Abankro Acheampong – Member
Fabian was in charge of Ghana’s U17 team at the 2017 FIFA World Cup in India where he led the team to the quarter-finals.
