Photo: Farmer harvests ‘biggest’ yam in history

A hard-working Nigerian farmer has harvested a gigantic yam which is arguably the world’s biggest yam at Akokwa, IMO State in Nigeria.

The yam weighed 179 Kilograms at harvest from an Akokwa land that is said not to be among the most fertile in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.
