The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at the Adjin Kotoku Onion Market on April 5, 2026.
In a statement issued by the Police on Thursday, April 9, detailing developments following the disturbance at the market.
Police revealed that after the incident, a team of surveillance officers from the Special Operations Assistant (SOA) to the Inspector General of Police was deployed to the area to carry out an intelligence-led operation.
The operation led to the arrest of a 40-year-old suspect, Inusah Seidu, on April 8, 2026, at about 3:00 pm from his hideout at Adjin Kotoku.
He is believed to have played a role in the shooting incident.
The suspect is currently in Police custody assisting with investigations, while efforts are underway to track down and arrest other individuals connected to the case.
