Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo has been recognized for his exceptional performance against Manchester City, securing a coveted spot in the Premier League Team of the Week.

The 24-year-old played a pivotal role in Bournemouth’s 2-1 victory over the reigning champions, scoring a crucial goal and consistently troubling City’s defense, particularly Kyle Walker.

Semenyo’s impressive performance was not the only highlight for Bournemouth players. Teammates Adam Smith and Lewis Cook also earned recognition in the BBC Team of the Week, alongside other notable names such as Nigeria’s Ola Aina, former Bournemouth teammate Dominic Solanke, and Anthony Gordon.

The full Team of the Week includes: Aaron Ramsdale, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Radu Dragusin, Moises Caicedo, Joao Gomes, Ola Aina, Lewis Cook, Adam Smith, Anthony Gordon, Dominic Solanke, and Antoine Semenyo.

With four goals in ten Premier League appearances this season, Semenyo continues to shine for Bournemouth.
