Prof. Opoku Agyemang begins 3 day campaign tour of North East and Savanna Regions

Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate, arrived in Tamale on Sunday for the launch of Haruna Iddrisu’s parliamentary campaign for the Tamale South Constituency.

This constituency, the largest in the Northern Region, holds the most votes in the region.

Haruna Iddrisu, the current MP for Tamale South, also receives the highest number of votes in the Northern Region and is also regarded as one of the most accomplished Members of Parliament, he is highly esteemed by both his peers and political observers.

At Sunday’s campaign launch, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will express gratitude to the people for their support, unwavering faith in the NDC, and for backing Hon. Iddrisu and other NDC Members of Parliament in the Tamale metropolis.

She will also reaffirm the NDC’s commitment to advancing development in the Northern Region and outline policies from the 2024 NDC manifesto focused on job creation, financial empowerment for women, opportunities for the youth, and support for Zongos.
