The Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, Sammi Awuku, has marked the first anniversary of his tenure, expressing gratitude to his constituents for their trust and support over the past year.
In a statement released on Thursday reflecting on his initial year in office, Mr. Awuku said his focus has been on listening, learning, and laying strong foundations for progress in the constituency.
He extended his thanks to traditional and religious leaders, youth groups, women, traders, and all residents of Akuapem North for their encouragement and belief in the area’s future.
Acknowledging that much work remains, the MP pledged to continue serving his constituents with dedication and humility, and expressed hope to enjoy their support in the coming year.
“The journey continues in 2026, and I hope I can once again enjoy your support. God bless you,” he concluded.
