Shatta Wale to sue bloggers
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has revealed that, his lawyers are going to take on anyone especially bloggers who pirate his ‘Wonder Boy’ album.

Shatta Wale disclosed on Happy FM’s Ayekoo Drive hosted by DJ Advicer that, “This time my lawyers are going to be strict on it. Any blogger who downloads my album from iTunes and posts them on his website will have to account for it as it is my intellectual property so you need to respect that”.

According to him the entire concept of him uploading his music on iTunes is to get Ghanaians to support the music industry by purchasing songs and that purpose is defeated when bloggers pay for the songs and upload them on their websites for their personal gains. The bloggers rather generate traffic to their websites making money off the artistes.

He emphasised on the fact that, the songs will strictly be on ITunes and the Album released prior to the launch.

Shatta is set to release his ‘Wonder Boy’ album on October 19, 2019. The ‘Melissa’ hit maker has lined up some top entertainers in the country who will add more spice to the program, unlike his ‘Reign’ album launch where he single-handedly steered the show.
