Sound engineer at the maiden edition of the annual Thanksgiving Concert of the self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale almost flopped as music sound went off for more than an hour.

As at 3:15 am on Saturday morning the sound went as Shatta Movement boss was preparing to mount the stage after performances from various underground artists and his Militants [Captan, Addi self and joint 77].

SM fans who thronged to the James Town Mantse Agboonaa Park to watch their hero started pelting the sound engineer and everyone on the stage with water bottles.

It took the intervention of the security guards at the event to restore normalcy.

The ‘Gringo’ hitmaker however thrilled his teeming fans with superlative performance with some of his old and trending hit tracks.

The concert which was attended by over 200,000 SM fans was organised by Shatta Wale to show appreciation to his fans for their loyalty throughout the year.

Shatta Wale promised to organise the event every year.
