A soldier identified as Warrant Officer Class One (WO1) Mensah Williams of the Ghana Air Force has been arrested by the Military Police for allegedly assaulting a young woman and a pharmacist at Burma Camp in Accra.
The incident which occurred on Wednesday, October 29 when the officer physically attacked the victims inside a pharmacy located within the camp.
A video of the incident, which has since gone viral, shows a tall, dark-complexioned man angrily confronting the pharmacist before slapping him.
The footage also captures the soldier turning on a female customer and striking her several times in the head after she attempted to record the altercation on her phone.
Following the assault, Military Police personnel have arrested WO1 Williams on Thursday, October 30, 2025. He has since been handed over to the Cantonments Police for further investigation and possible prosecution.
