Some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Techiman constituency have threatened to withdraw their support for the party, citing alleged neglect and discrimination by the current government.

Led by Madam Hannah Afosah, a former women’s organizer, the aggrieved members accused both regional and constituency executives of sidelining them in favor of individuals from other areas, despite their years of loyalty and sacrifice for the party.

Madam Afosah described the situation as disheartening, stressing that the lack of recognition and opportunities since the NDC assumed office was creating resentment among grassroots supporters.

The group is demanding the immediate restoration of their positions as school feeding coordinators, caterers, and patrons. They insist that their contributions and expertise merit greater opportunities than they are currently being offered.

Issuing a stern ultimatum, the members warned that if their grievances are not addressed within a short period, they will disengage from party activities and reconsider their allegiance to the NDC.
