The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) has taken a significant step to enhance its operational efficiency with the acquisition of a new fleet of vehicles.
The refinery has procured 8 brand new Mitsubishi vehicles, 3 Toyota Coaster buses, and 2 industrial forklifts, among other essential operational vehicles, using its Internally Generated Funds (IGF).
This move marks a major logistical upgrade for TOR, which had been facing challenges with inadequate operational logistics since 2013.
The new vehicles are expected to support the refinery’s day-to-day activities, improve productivity, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
The refinery’s management has expressed gratitude to the government and other stakeholders for their support and commitment to the development of TOR.
The new fleet is expected to enhance the refinery’s ability to transport personnel, equipment, and materials, thereby improving its overall operational efficiency.
The Toyota Coaster buses, for instance, will facilitate the transportation of staff, while the industrial forklifts will support cargo handling and other logistical activities.
