Hundreds of football fans in and around Tema Community 1 received their share of Supabets/Happy FM World Cup activation on Sunday afternoon as France take on Croatia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup final at the Luzhniki Stadium.
Patrons who stormed the Supabets shot at Tema Community 1 Old Melcom Casino were treated with crystal clear live commentary and unbiased analyses from the Happy FM crew which included former Hearts of Oak skipper Bernard Dong Bortey – who rightly predicted a victory for the Blues.

“To be honest, I would want Croatia to end the tournament as winners but looking at the opposition they are facing today makes it tough for them.”
“I believe France will go into the game as overwhelming favourites to carry the day because they have shown grit throughout the competition. Having said that, I think it will not change therefore they go home with the trophy. I’m tipping them to wallop Croatia and I believe i will be right after the match.”
The much anticipated clash lived up to its billing as the first half was full of action following the expansive approach to the game by the two coaches in the dugouts.
An own goal from Mario Manzukic put them ahead in the 18th minute before Ivan Perisic equalized but with seven minutes to end the first half, France took the lead from the spot after a VAR controversy.

Quick goals from Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe made sure France had a three-goal lead but an error from goalkeeper Hugo Lloris ensured Mario Manzukic had a redemption if his own.
